People are only just realising what FCUK stands for, and it's blowing their minds
THEY were raving about a "holy grail" perfume that costs less than a tenner.
But as one woman gushed about the FCUK Her scent, others were more surprised by the fact she revealed the letters are actually an acronym for the brand French Connection UK.

"Holy grail perfume?" a woman from the Female Formula asked a passerby on the street in London in a video on TikTok.
"French Connection UK, I think it's called Her," the woman replied, as a picture of the FCUK bottle flashed up on the screen.
"It's like £15 but I always get compliments on it. It's like a vanilla scent."
While some people used the comments section to share the woman's excitement over the fragrance, others admitted they were stunned to learn what FCUK actually means.

"Wait what! that's what it's called...mind blown I didn't know!" one wrote.
"Never knew it was called that at all lol," another added.
"Me neither," a third agreed.
"It was today I found out that brand stands for that," someone else commented.

"Well I get to know the full form today," another said.
"Not me only just realising what FCUK stood for… wow," someone else said.
"And us," the Female Formula poster wrote.
"Same!" another admitted.
"Wait it’s not called f-cuck!!!!????" someone else marvelled.
As another asked: "Anyone else pronounce it as FCKUK?"
Of course, longtime fans of the brand will be well aware of the abbreviation of the name.
Advertising whizz Trevor Beattie came up with it after visiting the French Connection offices, and spotting the abbreviation FCHK (French Connection Hong Kong) on an internal memo.
From there he came up with the idea to use FCUK, and from that the 1997 controversial ad campaign encouraging people to "fcuk fashion" was born.
The campaign hit headlines around the world "becoming a universally recognised great fashion moment", the French Connection website said.
And those who were already well aware what FCUK stands for used the comments section to instead debate whether or not the perfume was worth buying.
"Currently £9.99 in Savers, definitely a favourite I would recommend!" one person wrote.
"That was a flashback, used that when I was a late teen and totally forgot about it until now," another said.
"I had when I was a kidddd," a third admitted.
But someone else argued: "Am I the only one who thinks it STINKS?"

As someone else said: "Not a fan of vanilla scents…"
