'This is a great tonic' - emotional Scottish National win for Kitty's Light after trainer's daughter

IF there is a bottom to Kitty’s Light, we ain’t found it yet. Christian Williams’ staying star bagged another huge prize when powering to victory in the four-mile Coral Scottish Grand National. We probably use the phrase ‘stays all day’ too much in this game - but I don’t think there is a trip that would be too far for the seven-year-old. Indeed, it looked like he had just joined-in with three to jump, and if the race was over 40 miles you’d fancy him to get home with ease.

Suzuki's Ignis is not a big 4X4 but it is a clever little box

EVERY day is a school day in this job. I mean, who knew the people of India love Suzuki as much as a biriyani? And we’re talking cars — not bikes and scooters. Last year, Suzuki sold 1.75million cars in India. One million seven hundred and fifty thousand. Every other new car is a Suzuki. And if you need to change a lightbulb, brake pads or whatever, you are never more than 20 miles from a Suzuki service centre.

He started working as a pundit shortly after retiring as a professional in 2002, but was axed in 2012 by the BBC in a clear-out of pundits after complaints about their 'experts' and the fees they were being paid. Since retiring Dixon has worked as a pundit for the BBC, ITV, NBC and Amazon Prime's coverage of the Premier League this past season.

But it seems few are actually bothered by such things like plot development or sparkling dialogue – what seems to have sparked the most interest is the shop sign that reads in capital letters: “We will deep fry your kebab” with a Saltire underneath.

A 30-YEAR-OLD swinger has said the sex-swapping lifestyle is more common than people think — and it's hardly the STI-ridden underworld they imagine.
