Croydon fire: Third victim dies after deadly blaze rips through home with two others injured

THREE people have been killed with another two hurt after a blaze ripped through a home in South London. Emergency services were called out to the terrifying blaze just before 11pm on Friday in Sanderstead Road, South Croydon. Met Police this evening confirmed this morning that two men, one of whom is believed to be in his 40s, were tragically killed in the blaze in South London. A third man in his 30s was raced to hospital in critical condition and has since died, the force said.

A 49-YEAR-OLD man has been charged over a shooting spree in Liverpool. A gunman stormed a shop and the Showcase Cinema de Lux in Liverpool on Wednesday night while terrified families watched Wonka. The first report of gunshots was received from a shop, with further incidents outside a cinema and at a nearby property in the city on Wednesday night. No-one was injured. Leslie Garrett, of Ternhall Road, Liverpool, has been charged with one count of possession of a firearm to endanger life, two of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and one count of attempted robbery.
