DRIVERS are being warned that vaping in their cars could land them with a huge fine. Motorists who puff away while driving could have to fork up £2,000 for breaking road traffic rules. Although smoking or vaping while driving is not illegal, the law was changed back in 2015 so that smoking in a car with anyone under the age of 18 is now prohibited - with the driver and the smoker each facing a fine of £50.

A MAN was killed by a single punch - after he challenged youths believed to be throwing fireworks in the street. The 59-year-old who has not yet been named, was outside Dixy Chicken takeaway on Reed Hill, off Yorkshire Street, at around 9.15pm on Thursday evening when he was assaulted. He fell backwards and hit his head on the floor, suffering a serious head injury, before he was taken to hospital.

A FAMILY has slammed an insurer after their car was left flooded for a MONTH after horrific storms. Fuming vehicle owner, known only as A.M, from Nottingham, was outraged after killer Storm Babet completely destroyed their property.
