A30 crash - Two seriously injured in six-car pile-up after lorry 'crashed through central reservatio
TWO people have been seriously injured after a lorry apparently crashed through a central reservation in a six-vehicle pile-up in Devon today.
A caravan was among the vehicles hit in the horror traffic accident on the A30, as emergency services scrambled to the scene around 7.40am.

Police said a number of people were injured, with two of them believed to be seriously hurt.
An HGV lorry overturned during the collision near Cheriton Bishop, and air ambulance landed at the scene of the crash.
Firefighters from three crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to free casualties trapped in the wreckage.
Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue said they were called to the scene after receiving calls about a "lorry crossed the central reservation and hit oncoming vehicles".
An eyewitness tweeted: "Horrific scenes on the A30 near Cheriton Bishop. Truck through central reservation has hit oncoming traffic.

"Road looks likely to be closed for the foreseeable future."
Both carriageways were closed following the crash, with the A30 expected to remain closed for several hours.
Cops are appealing for witnesses.
A police spokesman said: "Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious multi-vehicle collision on the A30 at Cheriton Bishop.

"Among the vehicles is an HGV which has overturned and is on its side, plus a caravan.
"A number of people have been injured and two people are believed seriously hurt.

A Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Three fire engines from Danes Castle, Chagford and Middlemoor, along with the Heavy Rescue Tender from Middlemoor and the Environmental Protection Unit from North Tawton have responded to reports of a lorry which has crossed the central reservation and hit oncoming vehicles.
"Crews are using hydraulic cutting equipment and small tools to ensure vehicles are made safe and all casualties are free from the vehicles."
